Each year, delegations of student leaders travel to Washington, DC to attend the annual National Youth Leadership Mission. Including a visit to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, delegates spend two and a half days studying the consequences of hatred and discrimination. They return to their regions committed to making a difference in their schools, neighborhoods and homes. More than seventy delegates from the Washington, DC region have participated to date.
“Participating in the Mission was one of the best and most meaningful experiences of my life. I pledge to never again be a bystander to injustice and to be an ally for those in need.”
